Behavioral effects of emotional education in the lower grade students

Abstract

The present research deals with an intervention package applied to a sample of school students, which intends to train children and teenagers in emotional strategies in self-control. A set of cognitive, behavioural and emotional techniques were learned to control clinical symptoms, aggressive behavior, impulsivity, and to control stress. The results obtained, suggest that this psychological intevention had and effect, as observed a significative decline of disruptive and conflictive behaviours were observed after the intervention program.
